RICHMOND AFRICAN VIOLET SOCIETY – Come and meet with members of the society and bring all your questions on caring and growing African Violets.
SHARP AGAIN – Sharp Again will be here to sharpen your knives, pruners, garden tools, scissors, or mower blades. Sharpen while you wait and browse around the garden center or while you attend one of our free seminars. Prices will vary depending on what you are having sharpen. “How convenient and timely is this!!!!”

11am – SMALL SPACE VEGETABLE GARDENING – Down-sized vegetable gardening. Learn how to grow vegetables, herbs, and small fruit wherever you live. Including growing herbs, vegetables, and small fruits in containers on a patio, balcony, or deck. Bonnie Pega – Seed and Bulb specialist
12noon – HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN PLANTING IN HEAVY, CLAY SOIL – We want our plants to thrive and not just survive with ideal soil, sunlight, and water conditions. Nick Atkinson – Nursery supervisor & Plant specialist Nick will share his expertise on outdoor shrubs and trees – including proper location, proper planting, and proper spacing.
